YOU CAN STAND UNDER MY UMBRELLA

Rain is going on, and I can't find the time and perhaps the desire, to make and post outfit pics. They are intense weeks, my mood is like on a roller coaster. Me and Mr. C. are looking for home to buy, and non-work commitments and therefore accumulate to everyone else (shopping, gym and household chores).

Last week the weather news predicted snow on Milan, but it's still raining.

Luckily mu transparent umbrella has been delivered to my office last week, and I'm proud to show it to you now. I like to be able to look around even with the rain, even if I'm not succedeen in being cool under the rain.

POST-IT 14.02: MADE IN DESIGN

My tought on the compulsive buying has gone a bit 'over, and I thought that I would love to enrich my wardrobe with special accessories, maybe created by young designers.
These pieces are usually expensive because hand-made or otherwise produced in limited quantities, maybe even with higher quality materials than the average on the market.
Unfortunately it is difficult on shoes in finding innovative products at medium price, because the costs to start a limited production are exorbitant, and the sales price is quite the same of those of luxury brands. During summer sale period I've bought these this Fendi's shoes at a reasonable price.

Dress and hat: Gattacicova
Belt: Piazza Italia
Pants: Zara
Clutch: Asos
Shoes: Fendi

I have a nice wishlist  on the website boticca.com, a platform where young designers sell their creations. I think that sooner or later I'll buy there something special, that I hope not to see on other people as mass market items. I like the idea of supporting the designers' work, really hard today, who wants to make fashionable and wuality products.
Morover during this days is running a funny and realistic campaign on the reality of italian creative workers #coglioneno.

POST_IT 14.1 : RELOADED DRESS

As I told you last year, I would like to stop the compulsive shopping and trying to be more clever, reusing all the things I already have. So I'm proposing again this dress, bought at season beginning, styling in a completely different way, using old accessories, as the shoes that are from 2007.

Dress: marketplace
Cardigan: Alexandra
Coat: H&M
Shoes: Fornarina
Necklace: Marketplace

I've bought on sale a lot of tights: I like to do it, in order refresh my wardrobe in a cheap way.

Aggiungi didascalia

For those who want to go further with the idea of"reuse" and "reinvents", take a look to the "Project333" (discovered thanks to the beautiful Alice from Appunti di Moda): you cankeep in your wardrobe only 33 pieces you will wear and use to the next 3 months, and in total, including the accessories (sic!). So you can renew your wardrobequarterly cycles, adhering to the philosophy of "less is more". Ihonestly find this practice a bit extreme, but I agree with the fact that wespend so much on things that we can leave without. I really like the point "what would you do with the money that you spent last yearon clothing if you hand over them all together now?". It makes you think. The project also has a board on pinterest, which is useful for inspiration.

This is the reason why I've decided to put on sale part of my close. My needs have changed and now I'm more "work wardrobe" oriented than before, so I would like to give away the dresses that are staying unused on the hangers, or that don't fit me anymore. So you can find them on depop (@alicerubele), but I'm thinking to upload them also on subito.it and ebay to have a wider group of possible buyers.
