SUMMER OBSESSION: BRACELETS

Questa è decisamente l'estate dei braccialetti: colorati e in quantità. Più se ne indossano e meglio è.

I più gettonati sono i braccialetti Cruciani: economici e disponibili in tantissimi colori, l'azienda ha iniziato con i quadrifogli e poi sono arrivati anche tutti gli altri: farfalle, cuoricini e poi dragoni, chiavi e lucchetti e teschi dei pirati. Il primo mi è stato regalato, il secondo l'ho comprato. Poi a pensarci bene mi sono resa conto che 10/15 euro per una strisciolina di tessuto sono davvero troppi, e probabilmente questo boom finirà presto.

The company began with leafclovers and then came all the others as butterflies, hearts, dragons, keys and locks and skulls of pirates. The first was given to me,and I bought the second one. But reflecting on the price I realized that 10/15 euros for a strip of fabric are too many, and probably this boom will end soon.

Altro supertrend sono i braccialetti catena+cotone di Aurelie Bidermann: visto il costo esorbitante spopolano i consigli DIY: sono semplicissimi e il risultato è stupendo. Guardate questo tutorial, io l'ho trovato molto chiaro. Sono stata fortunatissima e ho ritrovato in cantina una scatola appartenuta alla zia di mamma piena di matassine da ricamo, quindi prossimamente mi dedicherò alla produzione di braccialetti in tutti i colori possibili. Fate attenzione però: io ho acquistato la catena a metro da OBI e quella con finitura ottone si è subito annerita a contatto con la pelle. Pessima qualità.

Other supertrend are chain + cotton Aurelie Bidermann bracelets: because of  the exorbitant cost it's possible to find online a lot of DIY advice: they are simple and the result is gorgeous. Check out this tutorial, I found it very clear. I was lucky and I found a box in the cellar belonged to mum's aunt full of cotton hanks, so soon I will produce bracelets in every color possible. Be careful on this: I bought the chain in meters at OBI store, and the brass one has been tarnished in contact with skin. Poor quality.

Sono però molto gettonati anche i braccialetti in pelle colorata, in plastiva o gomma. Tra i miei preferiti quello multigiro di swatch, perfetto se abbinato all'orologio, quelli tono su tono di HipHop Jewels e quelli di Ops! (ipirati ai bracciali catena+cuore di Tiffany) simili a quelli di le Pandorine (vedi Marc Jacobs). Decisamente da provare anche tutti assieme.

There are a lot of other kind of funny bracelets, such as in leather and plastic. Among my favorite of the multi-swatch, perfect when paired with the clock, those tone on tone Hop Jewels and those Ooops! (ipirati to Tiffany heart bracelets chain +) similar to those of the Pandorine (see Marc Jacobs). Definitely try it all together.
